1. Apple Cider Vinegar

- Take some quantity of undiluted apple cider vinegar and directly apply on the skin over the varicose veins then massage a little. Do the process every day before getting to sleep then again repeat it in the next morning when your wake up. Follow the remedy for a few months in order to reduce the size of the varicose veins.
- Another option is to add two tsp of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water and stir well together. Drink this mixture twice a day for one month.
2. Cayenne Pepper

- In a cup of hot water, add one tsp of cayenne pepper powder and stir it well.

- Take equal amounts of olive oil and vitamin E oil then mix them together and slightly warm the mixture. Massage the veins with this warm oil for few minutes. Do this twice daily for two months.
- In this warm oil, you can mix four drops of cypress essential oil and then massage this mixture on the varicose veins.
4. Garlic
Garlic has amazing properties of reducing inflammation linked with varicose veins and also the other symptoms may be gone from using this excellent herb. It helps in breaking up the harmful toxins present in the blood vessels.
- Take six garlic cloves and slice them then put in a clean glass jar.
- Take three oranges and extract its juice to add in the jar. Now add two tbsp. of olive oil.
- Let the mixture sit for about 12 hours.
- After 12 hours, first shake the jar then put few drops of the solution on your fingers. Massage the varicose veins with it in a circular motion for 15 minutes.
- Now cover up the area using cotton cloth and leave it for overnight.
- Repeat the process daily for several months.
5. Butcher’s Broom
Butcher’s broom is really a comfortable thing to do with varicose veins as it is helpful in reducing the aches and discomfort related to it. The compounds named as ruscogenins are present in butcher’s broom which reduces the inflammation due to its anti-inflammatory and anti-elastase activity.

- Take a washcloth and soak it in witch hazel then place it on the affected area. Do this method for three times a day for two months.
- Another option is to fill a tub with lukewarm water and add 20 drops of distilled witch hazel. Soak the legs in this solution for 15 minutes. After that wash your legs with clean water and pat them dry. Follow the method for two months regularly.
7. Horse Chestnut Seeds

Horse chestnut seed contains a compound called aescin that is helpful to improve the elastic strength of veins and protects from the releasing of enzymes that is responsible in damaging the capillary walls.
- Purchase the horse chestnut seed gel which will be easier for you to buy from the market. This gel would be use externally on the affected areas two times per day.
- Horse chestnut is also available in the form of supplements so that the common dosage is 300 mg two times daily. Remember that do not take it in a raw form because it contains large amounts of toxic compound known as esculin.
8. Parsley
Parsley contains rich amount of vitamin C and is a powerful antioxidant that is good to produce the collagen and cell repair. It contains rutin that plays a key role in strengthening the blood capillaries and useful to reduce the symptoms regarding varicose veins.
- Take a handful of chopped parsley and boil them in a cup of water for 5 minutes.

- Strain the solution then add one drop of each rose and marigold essential oils.
- Put the solution is the refrigerator for several minutes.

9. Grapevine Leaves

- Boil one cup of grapevine leaves in four cups of water for about 15 minutes. Let it steep for several minutes until it becomes lukewarm.
- Pour the solution into the bucket and soak your feet in it for only 5 minutes.
- Now put your feet in another bucket already filled with cold water for just 10 seconds.
- Do this method for four times.
- After that, massage your legs in an upward direction with castor oil.
- Finish the procedure by putting your legs in an elevated position for few minutes.
10. Marigold
Marigold is a beautiful flower but it has a rich source of flavonoids and vitamin C which is amazing to stimulate the collagen production and aid in cell repair. Blood circulation becomes improved doing this remedy thus marigold is useful in elevating the symptoms related to varicose veins.
- In four cups of water, boil one cup of marigold flowers for five minutes.
- Soak the cotton cloth in this solution then place the cloth on the affected area. Leave it as to keep it completely cool.
- Repeat for certain times per day for few months until you see some improvement.
