1. Ashwagandha

- Add 1 tsp of cinnamon powder in a cup of hot water.

4. Chasteberry
If the infertility is due to the hormonal imbalance in the body, chastebbery is amazing in this situation which is also named as vitex. This herb improves the ovulation as it has high prolactin levels. Plus, it fights against the PCOS symptoms.
- Add 1 tsp of fresh and dried chasteberries in a cup of boiling water.
- Cover the lid and let it steep for 10 minutes.
- Strain the solution and drink this tea daily for few weeks or months.
- You can also take chasteberry supplements that are available in a capsule form, liquid extract is also recommended. But for proper dosage, you should definitely consult your doctor before use.
5. Dates
Dates contain many essential nutrients that boost your ability to conceive a child. Dates have vitamin A,E and B as well as iron contents along with other minerals. These substances provide nourishing effects to the reproductive organs so that woman can bear a child and carry normally throughout the pregnancy.
- Take at least 12 dates (without seeds) and grind them with 2 tbsp of chopped coriander root in order to make a paste.
- Now add ¾ cup of cow’s milk to this paste then boil the mixture.
- Allow it to cool then drink this solution once daily for a week from the date of your last period.
- Eat at least 8 dates daily as a healthy snack or you can add them to milk, yogurt and smoothies.
6. Maca Root
Maca root is another effective and worth taking medicine as a herbal treatment of infertility in both men and women. This herb boosts the normal function of hormone production and is beneficial for women with hyperthyroidism as it supports thyroid function. Maca root is a good source of variety of nutrients required to boost up the fertility.
- Mix 1/4 to 1/2 tsp of maca root powder in a cup of lukewarm water or you can choose milk.
- Drink this mixture one time daily for few months.
- You can also sprinkle maca powder to your smoothies, breakfast cereal, milk, and yogurt.
- Alternatively, you can take maca root supplements after consulting the doctor.

10. Eat a Well-Balanced Diet
Eating a well-balanced diet is an important thing you should focus on in order to improving the fertility. A healthy body prevents health problems and prevents you from lots of disorders and diseases that may cause sterility. It increases your chance of conceiving.
- Eat foods rich in protein like beans, spinach, chickpeas, lentils and peas.
- Take carbohydrates that are low on the glycemic index like brown rice and whole-wheat bread.
- Eat iron-rich foods as it prevents the ovulation problems. Some good sources of iron are lean meats, leafy green vegetables, beans, prunes, apricot, dates and raisins.
- Eat fruits and vegetables that are rich in antioxidants.
- Include healthy fats in your diet like polyunsaturated and omega-3 fatty acids, monounsaturated fats that are the good factors of boosting fertility in women. These fats are found in fatty fish, avocados, nuts and seeds.
- Avoid spicy foods, strong tea, white flour, white sugar, fried foods, sea foods higher in mercury.
Additional Tips
- Maintain healthy weight, being an overweight or underweight disturb fertility.
- Stop smoking and avoid secondhand smoke.
- Avoid alcohol and caffeinated beverages.
- Have intercourse every day or every other day during your fertile period.
